stop adding terrible new music which doesnt fit the game like in 1.16-1.20+

i cant stand listening to it like they sound fine on their own but in a game like minecraft they sound out of place just give us the option to disable it

    Highly unlikely, it's all MC music now. Just use a resource pack or outside music playing sources.

    Please, original music is one of minecrafts most important elements. Mediocre new tracks are just watering down the expirience and anoying old players...

    I think that the newer soundtracks are good and fit the game.

    Can't stand it either to be honest. But this is matter of taste, experience,a and sensitivity, each of us has different.

    What keeps us away from being happy is just a minor customization, very simple code of piece required, a cheap flag and a toggle. I bet this would make many players of the original game delighted - something like "legacy/nostalgia music only" toggle.

    This wouldn't hurt fans of new music either. Just one flag, one customization... would certainly make some of us, older players less alienated with current development of the game!

    I think they fit the game a lot and I prefer a lot of them to some of C418s tracks particularly all of Aaron Cherofs tracks. Out of all of the newest ones, I can only think of one that isn’t that good, it’s not terrible though

    i do like the old music, but if you only want the older music may i suggest playing an older version? it's very easy and also doesn't include all of the other crap they've added over the years

    this is the reason that i play in both 1.8.9 and 1.20.4

    it wouldn't be an issue with me if the tracks could easily be removed entirely instead of having to settle for resource packs that make the audio silent or repeat another track.
