  That would be over powered, data packs exist to do it though i believe

  I think this would be awesome but a little over powered, maybe once you are on a certain level you can do it maybe idk 🤔

  Would it be OP, though? I just always thought that it looked weird when wearing a full set of armor with an elytra.

  make the armor trim (can you pls edit this post)
  be able to like; With the smithing table, you can put an "armor with elytra" TRIM.
  with this; you could use elytra on armor ( idc about UI)

  While I would love the idea, I’m not sure how the repairing would work. Could you repair the elytra with netherite and repair the chestplate with a phantom membrain?

  Nope, the hole point of elytra is that you have the risk of diying easily but you also have a very fast transport method
