If you want to propose a change to an existing structure (like villages), or add something brand new in a current dimension or biome, this is the place.

    Villagers are officially all pacifists, meaning there will be no villager guards or anything of the sort. However, we do have villager-like mobs, who could use some fleshing out, so what if this was an outcast village, inhabited by neutral illagers instead?

    Especially if this structure was rare, it would seem like the illagers managed to gather in one spot and build themselves back up to beat the villagers at their own game out of spite and also because they needed somewhere where for their less elite faction members to live. Add to that a piglin-like, strict ruleset the player must follow to be tolerated amongst them (no holding of weapons, no stealing, no damaging an illager, etc.) and it would bring quite a nifty bit of atmosphere to the place. Even better if the town is hopelessly overcrowded and these illagers tend to stare more intently than normal mobs, making the player automatically feel the oppression these outcasts presumably once felt.

    Or you can just improve the old villages. And now, as I understand it, players use villages only as a place where you can get something valuable in chests.
    I always wanted to live there, improve and help with protection.
