Crows would be added to Minecraft. Crows would build nests by searching leaf blocks without breaking them. The nests would appear in trees or possibly on top of the trees.
Crows would be breaded by giving each other an item, instead of the player causing it, the mobs cause it themselves. The more valuable the item the higher chance of breeding. Once successfully breaded they will lay eggs in their nest. If their is is no nest breeding will not be possible. Only one egg per nest. Their eggs would have a similar appearance to turtle eggs or candles.
When eggs would hatch they’d have a chick which would be a smaller light color similar to baby chickens. They will not leave the nest till fully grown. Their mother will bring back food for the chick to eat, the player also can increase growth with seeds and fish which will tame them. This is the only way to tame a crow. Once tamed with can go onto your shoulder similar to parrots. Once fully grown they’ll leave the nest and eventually build their own.
If the player dies, crows will circle your loot similar to the concept for the vultures. They can not pick up loot if you die, they’ll only pick it up if you drop it or you give it to them. They can pick up iron ingots, iron, diamonds, & emeralds, copper. Once collected they will bring it to their nest and it will stay in their nest until the nest is broken. You can use shears to get items out of crows nests without breaking the nest.
