- I’d like to suggest that Mojang adds a new way to customise helmets: armour horns! These will be found in dig sites, and have four designs I can think of: warden, goat, small stud, and Viking horn, each horn looking as they are described in their names. These will be applied with a smithing table, and, like armour trimming, they will be able to be matched with any type of mineral or crystal present in the game. You can only get these horns from archaeological excavation, and should not be found in structure chests. How are they applied? well, it really isn’t that difficult; you go onto the smithing table, put your helmet in the armour slot, your mineral of choice in the mineral slot, and your horn of choice in the slot where you’d put armour trims in. Since you require two horns for a helmet, there will be a button on the armour display section that switches which side of the helmet the horn is displayed on. You can use this to mix and match horn types to find which combination suits you best.
