fun and game changing plants

Before i start i know i have been told by many people that Mojang are doing their best,and i know that i'm just giving them my idea.I think that adding more plants for the sniffer or minecraft in general with more uses would be best.

For example a coffee plant would be great for a quick energy boost if put in a brewing stand,after the effects wear off you would have the slowness effect.

Another example could be a old and ancient plant (duh) which could be put on tipped arrows or consumed/used in potions to knock a player out (a narcotic) which would render the effected player unable to move their character for around 2 real life minutes or less (depending on how easy it is to make it)

To finish my first suggestion off i would like to give my reasons for these ideas.

Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the world but surprisingly its plants do not have that many uses outside of decoration,so i would like to be able to contribute to the game i love so much by diversifying the plant life.
