This would change the Stonecutter into a universal block cutter, which would add the ability to cut not only stone-type blocks, but also wood-type blocks and even metal blocks, which allows for the user to more accessibly create blocks that are expensive or tedious to make in a Crafting Table, similar to the Stonecutter's original purpose. This would allow for...
...cutting wooden planks into Doors, Pressure Plates, Buttons, Fences, Fence Gates, Stairs, Slabs, Hanging/Classic Signs, maybe even Boats
...cutting Iron Blocks into Iron Trapdoors, Weighted Pressure Plates, Iron Doors, Iron Bars, maybe even Minecarts
...cutting Gold Blocks into Weighted Pressure Plates, maybe variants of already existing iron decoration blocks, such as Gold Bars, Gold Doors, and Gold Trapdoors
...additionally, extra recipes that aren't already implemented for Copper Blocks would be added, such as the ability to make Copper Rods or maybe Copper Buttons if they are ever introduced into the game, even Copper variants to Doors, Trapdoors, and Bars; also add recipes for the stone variations of Buttons and add Stone Walls
The new Gold/Copper Doors and Trapdoors would work identically to the Iron Door and Trapdoor, but with a Gold-based texture akin to the Dark Oak Door and Trapdoor, and Copper-based textures akin to the Mangrove Door and Trapdoor (that could even be oxidized/waxed); like how the Iron Doors and Trapdoors have a texture akin to the Oak Doors and Trapdoors.
