Shear Cherry Leaves To Get Flowerless Variant

From the screenshots and videos of Cherry Blossom biome, it looks to me like there are no cherry leaves without the blossoms (flowers) on them. I thought it would be nice if there was also a blossom-less cherry leaves variant, just like how there is the regular azalea leaves and the flowering azalea leaves. Maybe you would get such an item through shearing the cherry blossom leaves like how you would shear a pumpkin and it could drop the blossoms which could be used to later craft the pink flower carpets.
