When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Copper wires and transformers

Copper wires could complement the redstone system in minecraft. They could be placed in the air like chains, they could also be more customizable, the player could choose which way to connect the wire, it would be possible to lay several wires on one block. The wires can be connected to the redstone by means of a redstone energy transformer into electricity. Adding wires could make many redstone circuits much more compact.
