Archaeology is coming to Minecraft in 1.20, so why don’t we add some pots that naturally generated around the Minecraft world. So there will be 4 types of pots and the pottery shards that Mojang just added can tell stories of how the items can get inside or why people at the time put them there.
Clay Pots will generate around Desert Temples, Jungle Temples, Desert Villages, Desert wells, Abandoned Villages, Dungeons, Mesa/Badland Biomes, and Strongholds. They contain dungeon loots, temple loots, or even brushes. But, if you are unlucky, you will get silverfish or nothing inside them. To get the loot, you can break them by using your hand.
Stone Pots will generate around the ocean ruins and they contain ocean ruin loots, kelps, or even sniffer eggs. To get the loot you have to break them using stone pickaxe or higher.
Deepslate Pots will generate around the ancient cities and they contain dungeon loots and if you are lucky, you can get the fragment of music disc 5. To get the loot you have to break them using iron pickaxe or higher.
Endstone Pots will randomly generated around the outer end islands Endstone pots will contain dungeon loots but no apples or music discs. It will also contain fragments of a new music disc that will be a recording. To get the loot you have to break them using iron pickaxe or higher.
You can put pottery shards or 2 blocks tall flowers. If you break them by using silk touch, you will get the pot and the thing inside them just like the beehives.
