The Shade was a mob planned for the caves and cliffs as a sort of opposite to the warden. A ghost-like figure who would only be visible from afar, slowly disappearing until only its eyes were left, then once close enough disappearing completely. I think this is a great concept and would love to see it brought back, and I think it’s cool on its own but I’m sure Mojang could come up with some cool gameplay or unique drops
