Please add /motion and /absorption commands to Java MC

I am a player using commands in the Java version of Minecraft.
I'm having trouble changing the player's motion or absorption values using commands.

/data command cannot change a player's NBT tag. Plese Make it possible to use /motion and /absorption to assign values from storage, entities or blocks like the awesome command /data modify.
