Weapon Trimming

As of snapshot 23w04a you can trim armor with materials and designs however the same cannot be said for weapons you cannot trim them which I have found to be a bit of a shame. My idea is you should be able to trim weapons the same as you would armor I think it would be a great feature because then you could have trimmed weapons that match your trimmed armor and it would look very nice. I want this in game because I believe it would just be very nice and good-looking.
