Make the Armor Trims have Effects

The idea of adding more customization into Minecraft is much-needed, but it's too much effort to just make your armor more aesthetic. Upgrade tablets would have more value if the trims had certain qualities, and here are some ideas.

gold trim armor: have same effect as gold armor, making piglins neutral towards the player
emerald trim: slight discount in villager trading
lapis trim: better luck or discounts in enchanting
nether quartz trim: more exp gain from killing
redstone trim: more exp gain from mining, smelting
amethyst trim: permanent night vision
diamond trim: permanent haste 1
iron trim: permanent resistance 1
copper trim: higher chance to get item drops from drowned, etc. (don't really know for this one)
netherite trim: permanent fire resistance, knockback -1

Of course the listed effects are just ideas that I would think would fit each ore, and more thought should be put into each one. Armor effects would give greater incentive for the player to seek out upgrade tablets!

i agree with you.

But... the armour's effect needs to be based on the number of pieces.

this is roughly what i think some of the trims could give.

Diamond; +1 toughness.

Netherite; +1 Knockback Resistance and +1 Toughness(If Armour Netherite) or armour doesn't lose durability to fire and doesn't burn.

Gold; Potion last 5% longer and are 5% stronger per piece.

Iron; is less likely to lose durability.(Like Unbreaking)
