Armor Trim for Elytra

Take the idea for armor trim and apply it to elytra, so those who are without a cape, or don’t use a cape can customize their elytra with the different places they go using them. Such as those that give armor trims, only it rare to get an Elytra Trim Template instead of the armor template.

    Perhaps you could convert an armor trim template to an elytra trim template.

    I think they should get rid of the cape/elytra hybrid altogether. Everyone gets the normal elytra and if you want to customize it, you should be able to do so with dyes, trims and possibly banners somehow.

    If you had a Trim on your chestplate and one on the Elytra you could use a slime ball to stick the Elytra to the Chestplate so then you would have an armored Elytra

    Please add an Elytra trimming. Add it at least in 1.21

    Elytra Trims would be a very simple remedy for cape less players and/or people who don’t like any capes they have. It’s an extra layer of customization that would go unwelcome by assumadly nobody.

    Elytra Armor Trim Template could drop after killing the dragon... There would be only one drop so bringing the dragon back and defeating it again would not give another trim template.
