craftable capes in 1.20

I think capes should be craftable so it's possible for customizing elytra is easer.

    This sorta defeats the purpose of normal capes in the first place. If you'd like to customize capes, things like resource packs can be used to do this

    Yes, from banners and wool. And so that it can look like a surcoat.

    Capes are meant to be a special item, so they won't be craftable in vanilla. But it would be cool to be able to customise elytra another way, like with banners or trims.
