(BE Parity) The ability to hit players with snowballs&eggs in Java Edition

Mojang, please add the ability to hit not only mobs but also players with snowballs and eggs in Java Edition like it is in Bedrock Edition. Almost every Minecraft: Java Edition player wants this feature to be in vanilla game so that would be super awesome if you have added it.
