Scented candles to ward away fireflies to protect frogs in certain areas. Nature happens, in real life and in Minecraft too. I wasn't one of those people who were diehard for the idea of fireflies and I can't say it broke my heart when it was removed, but I just had this idea and I think it would work well. I assume you'd have a swarm of flies in specific blocks and they wouldn't be everywhere. Similar to the Slimes generation. Certain biomes have a bigger chance of having more of them than other biomes. Frogs in the wild would, like in real life, have a chance of eating them and have a chance of dying because of it. but if a player puts candles in the areas they want to protect frogs, they can craft some. It doesn't even have to be a new type of candle, Just gives candles the function to keep fireflies from the area. Imagine all the ways people could build a sanctuary for frogs, giving candles a great use. More than just a visual pleaser, it would be given function. I loved the edition of candles and I farmed plenty of beehives and spider spawners to make them, I made stacks upon stacks of candles a very long time ago, and most of them are still in a box somewhere, unused. I did use some, but I underestimated how many I'd need. This would give them a much better use. I'd want to protect the frogs I brought to my base from far away, right. or course.
