Stalker

A tall mob that follows you around and runs away when you look at it but eventually comes back to you. Is transparent in colour and when killed drops the stalker helm making your armour invisible along with you

    Make it leech off of your health as it follows, maybe put it in the Deep Dark, since that biome is already horrifying and the stalker would fit right in, and maybe drop something like stalker flesh, which can then be crafted into something like the stalker heart, which can be equipped in the off-hand slot and will take a point of durability for each second in use, having a total of 500 points.
