Crosshair Settings

I've played MC for the majority of my life and I have never been able to change my crosshair. Most other first-person games have a crosshair customization setting which allows the player to change the shape/colour of their crosshair ingame.

I like what the MC crosshair does for the colouring (makes everything in the crosshair its negative), but I would love to be able to make it smaller, change it to a dot, maybe a circle.

You get the idea.

I think something like this is long overdue, so if it could be implemented that would be really cool in my opinion.
