Lost features, Mobs and Bits 'n' Bobs

A smaller update reintroducing ideas that didn't quite make it as well as popular requests from the community. 

Minecraft would benefit from an update that touches on everything that already exists and expanding on ideas of the past that would tie the game together- like a reunion. This update could touch on biomes, structures, mobs and items to add to diversity in all dimensions as well as giving life to ideas that already exist yet have not been added for one reason or the other. Overall, this would be a great way to keep the ball rolling before or during focusing on larger game changing additions.

I'm sure we'd all love to see more diversity.
