I think it would be delightful if the player could find baby piglins alone in the wilderness and 'lead' them (possibly by offering or throwing down golden food). If the player leads the lost baby piglin to a bastion, the player gains a temporary effect like "Friend of the Piglins" which makes all piglins--even piglin brutes--fully Neutral mobs towards the player.
This probably wouldn't work with baby piglins who "get lost" right next to a Bastion. Additionally, this might require some tweaks to make it more of an achievement. Maybe the lost baby piglin spooks easy, or the event triggers encounters with hostile mobs to attack the player.
I would personally really like a chance at a more cooperative relationship with piglins, similar to villagers but with some extra steps (and somewhat higher stakes). A cooperative, exploration-focused game like Minecraft shouldn't have to be about killing NPCs and taking their stuff!
