Dyeable redstone

You should be able to dye Redstone to change the color and make it harder to see. Then left clicking would get rid of the dye.

    Yes! and the Redstone of different colors will not be able to connect between them.

    Dyed Redstone existed in Pocket Edition in the inventory once, depending on damage value. It was actually the Redstone wire item.
