    But what about lag? And game speed? Why not just a structural system that is very very forgiving since this is minecraft not die+scream.

    Elaborate on β€œthree-dimensionality” if you don’t mean β€œmake them 3D blocks”.

    Gravity added to all blocks would just cause all caves to cave in and the surface terrain to collapse.

    maybe certain blocks could react to it being moved if its stone or deep slate maybe it could just rumble a lot making mobs know where you are
