Illagers are essentially an evil versions of villagers. Villagers are smart enough to trade with each other and even pick up dropped items (JE only) After hearing this you would expect their evil cousins to be pretty smart but suprisingly they are really stupid. They are so dumb in fact that they will shoot each other in the back while attacking an enemy. Pillagers and Illusioners should move out of the way when a Pillager, Illusioner, Vindicator, Witch, Ravager, Evoker, or vex is in the way. If another mob not listed above is in the way they should kind of move out of the way, but they will still have a chance of hitting them in the back. Whereas if any of the mobs listed above are in the way they should be especially careful not to shoot them. If there is a crowd of mobs in the way of an enemy, making it impossible or very difficult to get a clear shot, they should jump in the air to fire above the crowd's heads then reload their bow/crossbow then repeat the process
