When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Gears

Could add more to redstone, think with gears we could make things like massive clock towers or little coocoo clocks or they could be usefull in any steampunk builds and mabe even a functional castle gate,besides minecraft used to have gears anyway,why not add them back in with a few new features

    Fun fact: gears were a thing in Minecraft, and they were the predecessor of redstone.
