So there could be like a building that the villagers store all there emeralds and loot items and there are guards that will attack the player if they try to steal

    Seems a little more likely in a Woodland mansion or a special Pillager Outpost (a bigger version). Villagers are intended as pacifists I think, and honestly I haven't figured out why they aren't more barter items for items verse emerald trades myself.
