New Dimension: The Veldt

In the middle of the flat savannah is a structure, a portal. A portal that leads to the Veldt, an ancient, empty dimension.

The Veldt is a dimension resembling Minecraft's savannah, with a few minor changes. Firstly, mobs don't spawn. Secondly, there are ash particles in the air. The Veldt has no structures but there is one in the Overworld, which is the ruined portal to the Veldt. They generate in savannahs. The grass is dead and the leaves on the trees have decayed. There is not much unique in this place except for the wood, which is green-ish, and the grass, which no matter which biome it's in it will stay a dead color. The water is all acid, and needs a special bucket to collect. Acidsteel is the only ore that generates in the Veldt, and can be smelted into Acidsteel ingots, which can also be crafted into a bucket to hold the acid. The acid acts like lava except it does not burn wood, and it flows as fast as water. I don't know what else the Acidsteel could be used for, and I also don't know what the portal is like.
