Redstone dust on hanging sign to get a redstone line

You should be able to place redstone dust on top of a hanging sign to force it to act as a redstone line, allowing you to have parallel redstone lines that don't interact with each other, similar to how signals go through parallel repeaters. This would allow a much more precise control of redstone signals and avoid unwanted interactions.
