Feed your cattle

Nowadays, giving food to your animals is only necessary for you to breed them. From there, I'd love to have the experience of actually having to feed my animals to keep them alive, just like we (players) have to eat not to starve.    

This could also be interesting because: 

• You have to leave your cows, pigs, etc., where they can eat by themselves or you have to feed them.
• Difference in animals bodies: getting thinner or fatter as time goes by.
• Drop more or less items according to their ''weight''.
  
  I'd love to take my time and take care of my cattle. That's why my in-game nickname is Cattleman.
