In Minecraft’s world, something with the player involved is always happening. The player creates, destroys and more. Unfortunately, most of these actions either cause an annoying amount of destruction or nothing. I think that some new things could happen to track what happened in certain areas and allow for some more detective work in the game. This could include mushrooms having a chance to grow where a mob dies in stage nether and overworld. This would allow you to track or figure out where death was involved in a situation. Another example could be the use of animals. Maybe where a fight recently was, animals that have not despawned or won’t despawn will continuously panic until a while. This would help with the story telling part of 1.20 because it uses clues to give the player an idea of a story that happened in the spot that they stand in.
