There should be a way to hide your armor

Throughout all the years I’ve been playing minecraft I’ve wondered why there isn’t a way to hide your armor because there’s no point in skins if you can’t see it as soon as you get armor. There should be a setting to show/hide armor or a skin edit to show/hide your armor and this would be a really good thing to add if 1.20 is supposed to be about story telling
