Wombat

Please add wombats to Minecraft! They would spread conservation awareness to the endangered Australian animal, and besides, they are so cute. :)

    Cute and endangered being the only criteria for adding an animal doesn't work for a sandbox game like Minecraft. They need to actually add something to the sandbox as well. The basic animal roster we currently have, already fills all the straightforward roles, so new ones need to find an interesting niche to fit into. Considering Mojang have been struggling with this challenge for years now, you'd need to get remarkably creative to fit another animal into the sandbox as a worthwhile addition.

    So what special feature could a wombat bring to the table?
