  I think it would be an amazing feature to build into what little history Minecraft has. It also would be an amazing way to build on different ways to add more diverse mobs. basing them on real prehistoric animals, or it could add more imaginative mobs using it to create mobs like the blaze, creeper, and guardian.

  I think that certain structures currently in the game should be transformed into dig sites. It would be a lot of effort, but I think it'd be worth it.
