On PC, Mobile, and Xbox as far as I am aware it is completely free to transfer a world between those devices. The fact that the only available way to transfer a world from Bedrock on Switch to any other Bedrock platform is through Realms Backup is plain ridiculous. There should be an option in world settings to start a temporary world share of that world to transfer it to another Minecraft Bedrock platform. I have already utilized my Realms+ Free Trial so now the world I spent 2 years developing and programming cannot be sent to Minecraft Windows 10 Edition due to it being on Nintendo Switch and the fact that the Switch always saves data to Console Memory and never external memory (i.e Micro SD Card). This means that if you want to transfer your worlds from Switch to another platform, you currently require an active paid Realms(+) subscription if you have already used your 30 day Free Trial. This is costly unfair to Nintendo Switch users looking to transfer their worlds that they have spent hours(or in my case, years) pouring their heart, sweat, and soul into.
