End Crystals proper weapon

In the recent snapshot, 22w43a, the End Crystal was added to the combat tab, probably as a sign of awareness for the Crystal PvP community...but End Crystals aren't exactly "weapons"...they are "weaponized", which doesn't make them proper weapons

But now they are considered weapons...so to make it coherent, I would suggest a change in their use

They can still be placed down on Obsidian or Bedrock, but now they player can throw them just like a potion

It would require a massive damage nerf/re-work and maybe a different stack size/cooldown

    I don't think this works, considering on 2b2t they are balanced to work best with high damage, short range, and normal 64 stack size. Properly understood, end crystals are directional explosives and not grenades. Also consider that much of crystal pvp is performed with precisely configured hacks that would be a pain to rework.
