Tapirs are one of my favorite animals in the world, and I think they should be added to Minecraft to help spread awareness for the species, like what Mojang did for pandas, polar bears, bees, sea turtles, and axolotls. They should spawn naturally in the jungles, as the title says, to give jungles in the game more life, and have two variants, with one based on either a Baird's or Brazilian tapir (dark brown species) and the other based on the Malayan tapir (black-and-white species). They should be passive towards players and other animals, but hostile to many hostile mobs, which would make the jungles safer for the players. They should probably have some unique uses that other mobs currently don't have in the game, maybe to help collect seagrass for the players (so players could get seagrass more easily to feed and breed some other mobs like sea turtles), however, they should not drop anything to discourage poaching, since they are endangered species. With tapirs in Minecraft, more people will be aware and know about tapirs, and the tapirs will get more attention as they deserve as with more popular animals like bears.
