I am very glad about how the creative inventory rearrangement turned out! However, spawn eggs seem to be as much of a mess as they were before. Yes, they are sorted in a way. They are sorted alphabetically, which could be great... Until you think of language diversity. They are ordered alphabetically in English, but in other languages it simply doesn't work, and so it doesn't make searching for your favourite mob any easier. Please find a more convenient way to sort them.
That could be grouping them by some criteria. For example, by their behaviour: peaceful, neutral, aggressive. Or by the areas they inhabit: Overworld, Overworld deserts, Overworld forests (taigas, jungles etc), Overworld water, the Nether, the End, and so on.
Another neat way I saw someone suggest is to order them by the time they were added to the game, from the most OG ones like pigs and creepers, to the newest ones like frogs and camels. In fact, a lot of us have an idea of which mob is older and which is newer. It is a great way to not make the developers think too much over new mobs' positions, and the players could easily get used to finding their beloved wolves in the third cell of the fourth line without worrying about the next update moving it elsewhere.
Whatever it will be, sorting them by English alphabet is definitely not the way. Thank you for paying attention to what the fans want, hope this gets seen :)
