Minecraft needs newts


Newts are wonderful creatures, they live in rivers. Minecraft just needs them, it will be wonderful if these amphibians swim in the rivers of minecraft.

    It could work as an interesting bit of adorable ambience and I think it would make sense to have in the swamp, where the newt could provide some more spots of bright color amidst all the brown and muddy green.

    Some newts are poisonous though, so why not make some types of them deal poison damage when touched?
