The Green Eyed Enderman

If you didn't know one of the original designs for the Enderman depicted it with green eyes but not long after the design was changed to the infamous tall block fiend that we all know today. 

But who's to say the Enderman can't have variants?

This version of the Enderman would have much rarer chance of spawning due to it's origins and the game itself. It would have green eyes and emit green particle effects and also pick up blocks.

However these Green Enderman would not be neutral like their purple counterparts but rather hostile towards the player. The Green Enderman would also have different sounds rather than the standard variant of the Enderman is the Original Enderman that walked the Overworld, Nether, and The End. And this variant would drop ender pearls, but unlike its counterpart it would possess a rather a small chance of dropping "Eyes of Ender". This would help tie together a lot of mysteries within the game. Don't you ever wonder if there was an race of ancient builders that were trying to escape from the overworld how they could have obtained ender pearls if they were the ones who eventually morphed into enderman? The Green Enderman would have been the original Enderman or 1.0s. They would be the original enderman that the ancient builders killed in order to obtain the Eyes of Ender to escape to another dimension "The End". That's why the green enderman has a rare spawn rate and why The End is mostly full of purple enderman because the green variant was hunted.
