  I really like this idea, it would be awesome if that would be a way to measure how many times you pressed a button, so lets say you press it 3 times and the third bookshelf gets dispensed, it could activate redstone on the specific book being put in, and this could make codes for redstone doors a lot nore complicated.

  I think this is a great idea. This could be used for redstone contraptions and door-locking mechanisms.

  I am thinking of a secret opening that opens when you take a book off a specific bookshelf, that would be super cool!
  The ability to automatically put back the book with dispensers would be ideal
