Working Portcullis

We have single doors, double doors, trap doors and all sorts of gates and fences, who's to say we can't have the best part of any castle? The portcullis! A three block wide mechanism that can be activated by clicking it, redstone, redstone timer, pressure plates, you name it! Of course you'd need to create it, and what would you make it out of? Likely wood or iron, similar to a wooden or iron fence or gating. You could place it down near a segment of open blocks and boom! Working Portcullis right there. It's for all those medieval fans out there.
