Mojang already said one of the core functions of the spawners is that you have to GO OUT and find them, also using it as a building block for the new crystal blocks too I don’t see a need for silk ...

I personally think they’re already a bit powerful they don’t need to be more as it showed it’s intended for early game, a bit too powerful if anything.

You should be able to attach a lead to bamboo as a more natural way to keep your mobs around
