Combining redstone lamps with dyes or colored glass could give 16 types of colored lamps!

They could be used in trading but be worth 10 or 20 emeralds for example.

In order to link this with existing content, why not make as if the End was the space dimension of the game? Meteors could be made of End stone… and the new ore would be found in the End.

I also think it would be better in a Deep Ocean Biome instead of a new dimension!

This could fit in a cave update! A great cavern with a dragon sleeping on a heap, gold and other precious gems which doesn't exist yet.

This could replace water elevators: same function but realistic!

They could be troglodyte villages, carved in the rock. They would fit well in caverns, but also in crevasses and in cliffs too.
