This is a very good idea considering that the fish wont despawn also it would be very cool for decoration.

Maybe for an animation there might be one snow higher of water where the wave is.

Any sealife added to the game is a huge YES. It gives the game such a magical feel that everyone loves. Crabs and lobsters would be a very cool addition to the game.
