I'd like this if you'd be able to craft it from fat and string. Maybe even using dyes to make different candle colors. Add iron and maybe make a candle stand.

Or... it should be a spawn point and beds should be for sleeping. I play on a private server with my friends and when I visit and it gets dark, I sometimes sleep on their spare beds in their house....

Shouldn't be a used like a weapon or comparable to one, aside from that I'd agree with this suggestion. Tools should not be weapons.
