While I don't think anyone wants Java Edition to be completely replaced, Mac and Linux Bedrock should definitely be considered - then it would be REAL cross platform play.

The hardware wouldn't allow for this - the 3DS was enough trouble for them to port as it is. Also, the controls wouldn't really work, unless the bottom screen was some sort of mouse-pad. It really ...
