May be hard to pull off: new gems like emeralds (rubies, sapphires, ect) and use them as biome specific villager currency (plains villages use emeralds, desert villages rubies, ect)

'Get in the boat' splash text / advancement
A splash text and/or advancement saying 'get in the boat' if you have caught a mob in a boat. This could also be the discription of an advancement you get when you craft a boat.
