I was just about to post something like this! I thought that they should be tamed and then you could send a note (unfinished book & quill) to another specified player without anyone else seeing it ...

Maybe they could be a little bit larger than a parrot and could sit on your shoulder when you tame them. I do like the idea of a ridable animal that can fly though.

Maybe you could tame them with fish and then they would bring fish back to you unless they were sitting or on your shoulder(gets on your shoulder like parrot).

Awesome! But maybe you could be able to tame them with apples then ride them.
