Or you can just use 2 iron ingots and make sheers which is a lot cheaper...and doesn't require a super hard to make and expensive tool to make.

Modern tech should definitely be a no go. Wagons, sail boats, that sort of stuff...sure. But cars, motorcycles, definitely not.
